A couple of days ago sixty six years ago thousands of our young men died in the water and on the beach. Let us not forget their ultimate sacrifice. Look at the young men in this famous picture. It’s sobering to think that many of them didn’t make it. I know those boys will all go to heaven, for they already went through hell.
I don’t know why I didn’t post this the other day, but I think it is important that we recognize, remember and celebrate our veterans. It will be a sad day when the last of the veterans who survived that day return home. Let us rejoice in the time they have left with us.
