Well the mega Thanksgiving weekend has come to a close. Good food, good family, and fun. I was able to write a little more on chapter 13 over the weekend. Tomorrow means another week back at work. Well at least it keeps food in the fridge and the lights on for my little family. Right now I know I should be grateful that I have a job, but it is hard sometimes when your work is so boring and not challenging.
I am going to really buckle down this week and train hard for the marathon next year. This year I ran the half marathon and in 2010 I would like to be able to run a full marathon. No I am not one of “those people” you know the type, spandex wearing toothpicks who down protein shakes and wear $500 custom fit running shoes. No I am just over six feet tall and weigh in around 200 lbs. But I really felt awesome sprinting across the finish line. I ran the half Marathon in 2 hours 13 minutes plus some change. I would like to be able to run the full in 4 hours 30 minutes. Yes that means I would need to keep up the same pace for double the distance but I am going to train harder and longer this time around.
